Official Sales at Over 70 Franchise Stores of Nunaepyeonhan · Idea Optical Shop
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] NexGen Graphene Polymers, a specialized company in graphene composite materials (CEO Choi Jin-young), announced on the 11th that it has launched graphene eyeglass frames in collaboration with Sangsang, which operates "Noonae Pyeonan" and "Idea Optical."
This product has started sales at over 70 franchise stores of Noonae Pyeonan and Idea Optical. While graphene has previously been applied to parts of eyeglass temples, sunglasses, and sports goggles, NexGen Graphene Polymers explained that this is the first time graphene has been applied to the entire frame of regular eyeglasses.
The graphene eyeglass frames were developed by NexGen Graphene Polymers, with production handled by Harry High-Tech. Sangsang cooperated in distribution and sales, leading to the product's prompt release. The graphene frames are so lightweight that wearers hardly feel their weight, providing optimal comfort. They also feature excellent elasticity and flexibility, preventing breakage even if dropped or stepped on. Additionally, they have anti-fouling properties, antiviral and antibacterial functions.
Choi Jin-young, CEO of NexGen Graphene Polymers, stated, "As graphene products capable of high thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, static electricity prevention, breathability, bacterial growth inhibition, far-infrared radiation, and UV protection become widely available, the market will experience various changes brought about by graphene."
