Vegan refers to strict vegetarians who consume nothing but plant-based foods such as vegetables and fruits, completely excluding animal-derived products like milk and eggs. With the growing awareness of health and ethical consumption, the number of vegetarians and vegans is gradually increasing.
Natuur vegan ice cream uses only purely plant-based ingredients and passed the stringent animal DNA tests conducted by the Korea Vegan Certification Institute, obtaining vegan certification. Instead of milk or eggs, this product uses plant-based ingredients such as coconut milk, cashew nut paste, and natural guar gum to achieve the same texture and taste as regular ice cream.
Natuur vegan ice cream was developed after over a year of extensive research under the motto of "delicious vegan ice cream." While changing the decades-old standard ingredients and recipes, it was necessary to maintain the taste level of conventional ice cream, requiring experiments with thousands of ingredient combinations. Especially for Natuur, which advocates naturalism and does not use synthetic emulsifiers or stabilizers, developing vegan ice cream was an even more challenging task.
Natuur vegan ice cream comes in two flavors: the refreshing "Coconut Pineapple" and the savory "Cashew Vanilla." It features a differentiated design from existing Natuur ice creams, and to emphasize the brand's authenticity in line with the nature-friendly and eco-friendly concept, the plastic lid was replaced with paper material.
Natuur plans to continuously release new vegan ice creams in the future to lead the new vegan market as a domestic premium native ice cream brand.
