[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Min Jun-young] Broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo (43) has denied marriage rumors with KBS announcer Lee Hye-sung (28).
On the 8th, a representative from Jeon Hyun-moo's agency SM C&C stated to a media outlet, "The marriage rumors with announcer Lee Hye-sung are not true."
The marriage rumors arose after it was revealed that announcer Lee Hye-sung stepped down from her radio program due to personal reasons and that the two had participated in volunteer activities together.
KBS announced on the 7th, "Announcer Lee Hye-sung will be stepping down from KBS 2FM's 'Exciting Night, This is Lee Hye-sung,' which she had been hosting since June last year, due to personal reasons."
This led some to speculate that Lee Hye-sung, who is publicly dating Jeon Hyun-moo, might be preparing for marriage.
Additionally, the marriage rumors intensified after it was revealed that the two participated in a meal service volunteer activity organized by the NGO Dail Community on the 2nd.
In response, Jeon Hyun-moo's agency stated, "It is not true," and Lee Hye-sung herself also denied the marriage rumors.
Meanwhile, the two are senior and junior announcers at KBS and began their public relationship in November last year.
At that time, Jeon Hyun-moo's side said, "Within the professional common ground of being announcers, they maintained a good senior-junior relationship and recently developed feelings for each other."
