Saltlux Receives Approval for Preliminary Review Request for KOSDAQ Market Listing

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Saltlux, an artificial intelligence (AI) and big data specialized company, announced on the 6th that it has passed the preliminary review for listing on the KOSDAQ market.

Earlier, Saltlux had submitted a preliminary review application for a technology-specialty KOSDAQ listing to the Korea Exchange in February and declared the official start of its initial public offering (IPO).

A Saltlux representative said, “The company proved its competitiveness by receiving 'AA' and 'A' ratings in the technology evaluation focused on core technologies last December,” adding, “With the approval of this preliminary review application, we can accelerate preparations for the KOSDAQ listing.”

Founded in 2000, Saltlux is a technology-centered specialized company based on AI and big data technologies. Established on the philosophy of CEO Kyungil Lee to “create a world where everyone freely communicates knowledge,” the company has strengthened its expertise in advanced industrial fields since its inception. Saltlux’s core technologies, ‘Ensemble Conversational AI’ and ‘Big Data Augmented Analytics,’ have been introduced across private, public, and defense sectors, recognized as the largest-scale application cases in Korea.

A Saltlux representative stated, “Based on accumulated technological capabilities and know-how, the company has maintained an average annual sales growth rate of over 25% for the past three years,” and added, “Along with this, we are also focusing on laying the foundation for building the world’s best AI infrastructure through AI talent development, platform and product service commercialization.”

The company plans to diversify its portfolio and leap forward as an advanced solution company by expanding into AI-based robotic process automation (RPA), conversational anomaly diagnosis and maintenance business, intelligent recruitment screening, and automated analysis of accounting and legal contracts.

Saltlux CEO Kyungil Lee said, “Based on the strength of growing into a company with Korea’s best AI and big data core technologies, Saltlux will lead a new paradigm shift in the global AI industry market.”
