Local Professional Organizations and Religious Facilities Provide Donations and Daily Necessities to Support Fire-Affected Residents

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Helping hands continue to support the victims who lost their homes and are struggling with daily life due to a fire that occurred last month on the 25th at an apartment in Jeonnong 2-dong, Dongdaemun-gu.
Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor You Deok-yeol) announced that local professional organizations and religious facilities donated money and daily necessities to six households affected by the fire.
First, the day after the fire, the Jeonnong 2-dong Hope Welfare Committee (Chairman Lee Myung-jin) promptly delivered daily necessities worth a total of 1 million won, including ramen, rice, shampoo, and side dish coupons, to the affected households.
Next, Pastor Jeon Du-ho of Yeomgwang Church, who is active as a Hope Welfare Committee member in Jeonnong 2-dong, donated a total of 10 million won to the affected households, hoping that the victims would overcome the shock and pain quickly and dream of a bright future.
Lee Myung-jin, Chairman of the Jeonnong 2-dong Hope Welfare Committee, said, “We hope that our help will be of some assistance to the residents who suffered fire damage in enduring this difficult time.”
Choi So-jeong, head of Jeonnong 2-dong, expressed gratitude to those who sent warm hearts and helping hands to neighbors in need, saying, “We will carefully monitor so that the affected residents can overcome this difficult situation as soon as possible.”
