Meanwhile, the Goseong wildfire started around 8:04 PM on the 1st at a house in Dowon-ri, Toseong-myeon, Goseong-gun, and spread to a nearby hill. Riding typhoon-level strong winds, the fire rapidly spread to Dowon-ri and Hakya-ri, and the main fire was extinguished around 8 AM on the 2nd, 12 hours after it started.
