S&T Heavy Industries Distributes 'Changwon Love Gift Certificates' to All Employees Ahead of Golden Holiday

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] S&T Heavy Industries distributed Changwon Love Gift Certificates to all employees on the 29th, ahead of the Buddha’s Birthday and the consecutive holidays including Children’s Day in May.

The labor and management of S&T Heavy Industries delivered 100,000 KRW worth of Changwon Love Gift Certificates to about 780 employees, including 200 on paid leave, using the in-house labor welfare fund.

Yoon Jeong-min, head of the S&T Heavy Industries labor union branch, said, "Although we are facing difficulties due to the COVID-19 crisis, labor and management agreed to support local small businesses," adding, "We hope the gift certificates will be actively used during the holidays to help the local economy."

The Changwon Love Gift Certificates can be used like cash at 20,000 local affiliated stores in Changwon, including neighborhood supermarkets, academies, restaurants, beauty salons, bathhouses, and convenience stores.
