On that day, Kim Yoon-ki (Lee Moo-saeng) witnesses Ji Sun-woo's (Kim Hee-ae) son Lee Jun-young (Jeon Jin-seo) scratching Yeo Byung-gyu's (Lee Kyung-young) car and asks Jun-young the reason. However, Lee Jun-young does not answer and leaves the scene. Then, he tells Yeo Byung-gyu, whom he meets there, about the relationship between Ji Sun-woo and Lee Tae-oh (Park Hae-joon).
When Yeo Byung-gyu says to Kim Yoon-ki, "I heard you have feelings for Ji Sun-woo," Kim Yoon-ki replies, "You misunderstood. I have no personal feelings for Ji Sun-woo. I only induced transference for effective counseling."
Gong Ji-cheol (Jung Jae-sung) asks Ji Sun-woo if there is a connection between Kim Yoon-ki and Chairman Yeo Byung-gyu. Pretending to consult with Kim Yoon-ki, Ji Sun-woo probes, "How about taking the deputy director position?" However, Kim Yoon-ki answers, "I'm fine as I am now. It wouldn't help the hospital."
Yeo Da-gyeong (Han So-hee) asks Lee Tae-oh, "Someone said once a cheater always cheats. You've heard that too, right?" Lee Tae-oh comforts her, saying, "You and I weren't cheating. We know that. Don't get hurt by such words."
Gong Ji-cheol informs Ji Sun-woo that he has decided to entrust the deputy director position to Kim Yoon-ki and orders the handover. In the hallway, Kim Hee-ae meets Kim Yoon-ki and says, "Congratulations on becoming deputy director."
Ji Sun-woo meets Yeo Byung-gyu and expresses dissatisfaction about his interference in personnel matters. Yeo Byung-gyu replies, "I wish you would leave Gosan altogether." Sensing the situation, Ji Sun-woo then asks Kim Yoon-ki, "How do you know Chairman Yeo?" Kim Yoon-ki says, "She asked for a favor, so I am counseling her." He adds, "I have no ambition for that position and will step down at the right time." However, Kim Hee-ae says, "Don't ever approach my son again."
Due to Lee Tae-oh's scheme, Go Ye-rim (Park Sun-young) finds out that Son Je-hyuk (Kim Young-min) cheated and demands a divorce. Son Je-hyuk warns Ji Sun-woo, "I don't know what I'll do to you, so brace yourself. If you don't want to suffer like me, get your act together."
Ji Sun-woo meets Min Hyun-seo at Gosan Station to say goodbye. Then, she goes back to the station to return an item Min Hyun-seo left behind and witnesses a murder. There was a muffler that Ji Sun-woo had given to Min Hyun-seo at the scene.
JTBC drama 'The World of the Married' airs every Friday and Saturday at 10:50 PM.
