[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] Singer Jeon So-mi delivered a sharp response to malicious commenters.

On the 24th, a video titled "So Cool~ So-mi's Reading Malicious Comments" was uploaded on the official YouTube account of Jeon So-mi's agency, The Black Label.

In the video, Jeon So-mi said, "I am going to check the reactions to the graduation photo news," and accessed a portal site on her smartphone. Upon seeing an article with a photo she liked, she expressed gratitude, saying, "They applied a really pretty filter to the photo. Thank you for the beautiful picture."

Then, Jeon So-mi began reading the comments under her photo. She responded to malicious comments such as "You really have a celebrity complex" and "I want to eat Ice Kkegi."

To the comment "So-mi, do you have a belly fat?" she replied, "Sorry, but where is the belly fat? Sorry, but I guess you are not a woman. Women have to tuck in their shirts when wearing school uniforms, wear undershorts, and stockings," she countered.

She then showed a cool attitude, saying, "Since you wear a skirt over that, if the shirt slightly peeks out, it might look like that. You must have been mistaken."

After reading a disparaging comment about her mixed heritage, "You look too different to be mixed," she said, "Mixed? What era is that from? That must be my mom's generation. My mom said she heard a lot of such comments after having me when she was young," showing a composed attitude by adding, "I am not bothered at all."

Jeon So-mi then expressed gratitude for a supportive comment saying, "So-mi, congratulations on your graduation. Don't look at or listen to malicious comments, just report them. Those people are not even worth dealing with as humans. If you pay attention to them, they will do more, so you need to be cold," saying "Thank you." She also showed her love for fans by saying, "I miss my Sommungchi (fluffy fans)."
