[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyun-joo] Soongsil University announced on the 23rd that the research lab of Professor Kim Young-han from the Department of Electronic Information Engineering has been selected for the Ministry of Science and ICT's SW Star Lab support project under the theme of "Development of Cloud Auto-Recovery Technology Using Artificial Intelligence," receiving a total of 2.3 billion KRW over 8 years.
Professor Kim's lab is the only one selected in the cloud field, with a total of 7 labs chosen this year. Soongsil University was selected as a software-centered university by the Ministry of Science and ICT and has been receiving 6.6 billion KRW in support over 4 years since 2018.
