‘Brown Donkatsu’ announced that, in response to the COVID-19 crisis, it will support all franchise stores by providing one box of Jeju pork each, following the 50% royalty exemption for franchise stores in March and April. Starting from February, when the situation worsened, Brown Donkatsu has been offering a 50% reduction in franchise royalties and providing one box of exclusive sauce to about 60 franchise stores nationwide for two months.
A Brown Donkatsu representative explained, “This is a company-level support measure for franchise stores facing difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 crisis.” They added, “We have made it mandatory for employees to wear masks and provide hand sanitizer directly to customers before ordering, supporting systematic quarantine measures to minimize damage to franchise stores.”
Brown Donkatsu is providing various benefits to ensure stable operations during difficult times for its franchise stores. With a systematic operation and startup system that quickly responds to crises, Brown Donkatsu secures the stability and profitability of franchise owners and offers differentiated menus, proving its competitiveness in the donkatsu franchise startup market. A brand representative stated, “If you want a stable low-capital franchise startup, we recommend considering Brown Donkatsu, which has a systematic startup and operation system.”
Brown Donkatsu is the largest donkatsu franchise in Korea, known for offering healthy-image donkatsu made with fresh Jeju pork. It has a variety of basic and unique menus. Among them, the Western-style donkatsu, which evokes nostalgia from the 1980s, is the main menu and has established itself as a representative brand loved by people of all ages.
Meanwhile, after the crisis, Brown Donkatsu has also implemented various support measures for win-win management, including placing hand sanitizers and thermal scanners inside stores and providing quarantine support to franchise stores.
