11st Partners with Volkswagen Korea for Exclusive 'Tiguan' Promotion

[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Cha] 11st announced on the 21st that it will conduct an online-exclusive promotion for the Tiguan, a sports utility vehicle (SUV) that has sold 6 million units worldwide, in collaboration with Volkswagen Korea.


In this 11st-Volkswagen promotion, Volkswagen's new 4-wheel drive Tiguan model, the 'Tiguan 4Motion,' has been added. Customers who apply for a purchase consultation on 11st by the 29th will receive various benefits and gifts, including ▲up to 13% discount on vehicle purchase (based on the premium model) ▲powertrain advanced warranty extension for 5 years or 150,000 km ▲new car customer welcome service ? vehicle inspection and fluid parts (top-up) ▲Volkswagen certified black box, among others.


Starting from 10 a.m. on the 22nd, Volkswagen Korea will sell long-term test drive vouchers for up to 3 nights and 4 days, introduced for the first time in the industry in collaboration with 11st. This is prepared for customers who want to thoroughly test drive the vehicle on frequently used routes such as commuting or daily life, rather than a short test drive at a dealership. It is sold exclusively on 11st, with the test drive period from June 1 to June 1, and the Tiguan 4Motion model can be used for 150,000 KRW based on a weekday 2 nights and 3 days (Tuesday to Thursday) plan.


The vehicle delivery will be made according to the customer's chosen location and time, and cleaning and disinfection services are provided as standard for all test drive vehicles. If customers contract and take delivery of the vehicle by the end of November after using the long-term test drive voucher through 11st, 100% of the test drive voucher payment amount will be given as SK Pay points.


Additionally, 11st is launching a special event that offers discounted travel accommodation products such as camping and caravans in the Gangwon, Gyeonggi, and Chungcheong regions in connection with the Tiguan long-term test drive voucher. One hundred representative accommodation products, including Sol Beach Resort, Gyeongpo St. John's Hotel, Pocheon Forest Pool Villa, Gapyeong Hill & Pole House Pension, Anmyeondo Heavyal Pool Villa, and Taean Indigo Nine Pool Villa, are prepared at special discounted prices.


Park Junyoung, head of the 11st Strategic Business Group, said, “Since introducing the 2020 model Tiguan for the first time through 11st, customer reviews have continued to express satisfaction with the convenience of non-face-to-face purchase consultations and exclusive benefits on 11st,” adding, “To revitalize the sluggish automobile sales market, 11st will target customers who want untact (non-face-to-face) consumption and provide an upgraded vehicle purchase environment.”


Meanwhile, 11st is leading the online vehicle purchase market this year by conducting consultations for new car and long-term rental car customers with Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz Mobility Services, SsangYong Motor, and others.
