[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] Actress Soyoujin donated 30,000 masks for children in vulnerable groups following her 100 million won donation.
On the 14th, Soyoujin posted on her Instagram, "I felt very heavy-hearted during the meeting to cancel volunteer activities and events planned for the upcoming Children's Day with the Korea Social Welfare Council," adding, "I heard that it is still difficult to provide masks to child protection facilities and single-parent families nationwide, so I donated 30,000 masks."
She continued, "I hope we can overcome this healthily and meet again with bright faces."
Along with the post, she shared a commemorative photo of the 30,000 mask donation.
Earlier in February, Soyoujin had also donated 100 million won for COVID-19 relief through the Korean Red Cross.
The masks donated by Soyoujin will be delivered to child protection facilities and children from single-parent families nationwide, including Daegu, which was declared a special disaster zone.
Meanwhile, Soyoujin is currently appearing as an MC on tvN's 'Little Big Hero The Challenger' and Channel A's 'Dad's True Colors.'
