A total of 66 wins including 14 major victories with Newport 2, Titleist 975 woods, Mizuno MP14 irons, and Nike wedges as 'special assistants'
Tiger Woods has won 14 of his 15 major titles and 66 of his 82 career victories using the Titleist Scotty Cameron Newport 2 GSS putter.

The "resurrected golf emperor" Tiger Woods (USA) tied Sam Snead's (USA) PGA Tour record for most wins (82 wins) by winning the Zozo Championship last October. This was possible thanks to his perfectly matched weapons. We looked at Woods' all-time best clubs 'Top 10' recently released by the PGA Tour. The number one is the Titleist Scotty Cameron Newport 2 GSS putter. It is a special helper that led 14 of his 15 major wins since 1999 and 66 of his 82 wins.
It features a trisol design with eye-catching red lettering. The slight wear just above the sweet spot is impressive. It has a loft of 3.75 degrees, length of 35.25 inches, and weighs 327g. The Scotty Cameron Terilium Newport putter followed. It was the secret weapon that helped him win his first Masters in 1997. At that time, Woods set astonishing records as the youngest winner (20 years 8 months 23 days), lowest tournament score (18 under par), largest margin over second place (12 strokes), and shortest time to win after joining the tour (8 months).
The 3rd place is the Titleist 970 3-wood. It attracted attention by using satin steel on a deep face. In the 3rd round of the 2000 Open Championship, Woods executed an almost perfect shot with the 3-wood on the 14th hole (par 5), ultimately achieving the record for the most under-par victory at 19 under. Mizuno irons MP14 and MP29 ranked 4th. He mixed these forged irons at the 1997 Masters, using MP29 for 2-4 irons and MP14 from 5 iron to pitching wedge.
He chose models with minimal offset for each to complete the optimal club setup. The Nike Fastback 60-degree wedge is 5th. On the final day of the 2005 Masters, Woods attempted a fantastic flop shot with this wedge on the 16th hole (par 3); the ball landed on the green, rolled 7 meters, stopped in front of the hole, and then dropped in. 6th place is the Titleist 975D driver. It was his favorite club from his debut in 1998. With a small 260cc head, 43.5-inch length, and X100 shaft, he unleashed powerful long drives.
This was the longest-used driver until he switched to the Nike Titanium model (400cc) in 2002. The Titleist 681T 2-iron is 7th. It has a loft of 19 degrees, length of 39.5 inches, and swing weight of D4. At the 2002 US Open, Woods showed peak driving iron shots and won by the largest margin in the four majors (15 strokes). The TaylorMade P7TW 8-iron is 8th, King Cobra Deep Face driver 9th, and Nike T40 5-wood 10th.
