On the 9th broadcast of SBS entertainment program 'Delicious Rendezvous,' culinary researcher and entrepreneur Baek Jong-won and singer Kim Dong-jun were shown visiting a seaweed farm in Haenam.
Upon arriving in Haenam with Baek Jong-won, Kim Dong-jun joked, "I came along because my last name is Kim," to which Baek Jong-won replied, "Isn't seaweed called 'gim' because the Kim family started farming it?" surprising Kim Dong-jun.
Baek Jong-won then revealed, "I once harvested seaweed on the West Coast and filmed making seaweed in the traditional way." Footage from that time was shown as archival video.
The video captured Baek Jong-won visiting the West Coast 10 years ago with actress Jung Si-ah. Baek Jong-won, with a noticeably different appearance from now, humorously asked a fisherman, "Is your youngest son really this handsome?" which brought laughter.
