Amexcoslab's Eco-Friendly Cosmetics, Practicing Plastic Reduction... Convenient Mini Cosmetics

Plastic is a material widely used in our daily lives, but it is also a major cause of environmental pollution. So far, 6.3 billion tons of plastic waste have been discarded worldwide, and these plastics have flowed into soil, oceans, and rivers, where they do not decompose easily and release harmful substances that damage the environment.

In response, countries and companies are seeking ways to reduce the use of plastic. Especially in cosmetics, which are among the most frequently used daily products, the need for plastic alternatives is even more urgent. Among them, cosmetic companies using eco-friendly containers instead of plastic are attracting attention.

Amaxcoslab Co., Ltd. produces spout pouch cosmetics made from recycled paper domestically. Thanks to the use of recycled paper, the resource recycling rate is high, and the packaging boxes also use recycled kraft paper, allowing direct display without plastic shelves, which is expected to contribute to reducing plastic waste disposal.

Additionally, Amaxcoslab cosmetics are mini cosmetics emphasizing convenience and portability desired by consumers, following the recent global trend of convenience store cosmetics. The small packaging includes various items such as perfume, skincare, cleansing, and makeup, making it an item that can be used comfortably anytime and anywhere.

Amaxcoslab has also signed an exclusive supply contract with Thailand's 7-Eleven, contributing to Thailand's environmental policies and the spread of eco-friendly cosmetics. In 2019, the company received the Top 10 Business Leaders Award and the Innovative Enterprise Brand Award at the Asia Brand Awards 2019.

CEO Jeong Yutaek stated, "The public must minimize the use of plastics and other materials by choosing eco-friendly products themselves, and in the long term, build an eco-friendly infrastructure that phases out plastics to create a consumer culture that prioritizes the environment. Amaxcoslab will also lead this trend."

Meanwhile, in addition to Thailand, meetings for store entry are underway with various overseas companies in Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and others. Through these global market strategies, the company is striving to establish itself as a business that promotes eco-friendly values worldwide.
