KT Wonnaevi Provides Information on Polling Stations, Mask Stock, and Mart Holidays

[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] KT's navigation service ONE NAVI will allow users to check polling station locations, real-time stock of public masks, and major supermarket holiday schedules.

On the 9th, KT announced that it will enhance the lifestyle information features of ONE NAVI. The newly added functions include ▲guidance on early voting and polling station locations for the April 15 general election ▲real-time mask stock at public mask sales locations ▲strengthened safety driving alerts for school zones under 30 km/h ▲information on major supermarket holidays and business status ▲improved visibility for intersections and entrance/exit guidance ▲real-time information display for Jeju C-ITS (Next-Generation Intelligent Transport System).

ONE NAVI users can search for nearby polling stations and check their locations during the early voting period. On election day, April 15, searching related keywords such as 'polling station' will provide guidance on polling station locations within the jurisdiction.

Users can also view the locations of public mask sales points (pharmacies) and real-time mask stock status. As part of the response to COVID-19, ONE NAVI has been offering search functions for screening clinics and public relief hospitals since January.

The safety driving feature within school zones has also been enhanced. Following the amendment to the Road Traffic Act implemented on the 25th of last month, voice guidance encouraging 'safe driving under 30 km/h' will be additionally provided to ensure drivers are fully aware before entering school zones.

Reflecting user feedback, ONE NAVI now provides information on the types of chargers and availability status at electric vehicle charging stations nationwide. Users can also immediately check major supermarkets' holiday schedules and same-day closure status in destination search results.

Detailed images displayed at intersections and entrances/exits have been optimized for display ratio and directional guidance, and the display time has been nearly doubled compared to before, allowing users to accurately recognize driving directions.

ONE NAVI users can check real-time parking lot information, electric charging station information, and more provided by Jeju C-ITS. In the future, KT plans to expand Jeju C-ITS linked information and collaborate with Korea Expressway Corporation and others to provide information on sudden road situations, thereby enhancing users' safe driving features. The latest updated version can be downloaded and used by anyone regardless of carrier from Google Play, One Store, and Apple App Store.
