Sejong National Leadership Committee Holds the 18th Sejong National Leadership Forum

[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] The Sejong National Leadership Committee under the National Research Council for Economics, Humanities and Social Sciences (NRC) announced that it will hold the "18th Sejong National Leadership Forum" on the 8th at 3 PM via live broadcast channel under the theme "Innovative Inclusive Nation and Global Inclusive Nation Alliance."

This forum was organized to discuss global alliance strategies and inclusive leadership for achieving an innovative inclusive nation, with Chairman Kyungryung Sung of the NRC delivering a lecture.

The forum will be broadcast live through the NRC website and YouTube (NRC channel) as part of the social distancing campaign to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

Chairman Sung stated, "Our country achieved the unprecedented Miracle on the Han River through compressed growth driven by strong nationalism, but behind this success, limitations such as deepening income polarization and inequality, and severe political conflicts have emerged." He added, "To overcome these limitations, the Moon Jae-in administration presented the national vision of a 'country where everyone prospers together' and an 'innovative inclusive nation,' aiming to transcend polarization and inequality through inclusion and to sustain economic growth through innovation."
