Martial Arts, 'COVID-19 Trade Finance Utilization Seminar' Held


[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] The Korea International Trade Association (KITA), together with the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation, the Export-Import Bank of Korea, the Small and Medium Business Corporation, and the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, will jointly hold a "COVID-19 Trade Finance Utilization Briefing" live on YouTube from 10 a.m. on the 9th.


Each institution will introduce key financial products and funding utilization tips for companies affected by COVID-19, including trade promotion fund loans (KITA), emergency trade insurance support measures (Korea Trade Insurance Corporation), emergency financial support measures (Export-Import Bank of Korea), policy fund support measures (Small and Medium Business Corporation), and management stabilization support measures (Korea Credit Guarantee Fund). After the presentations, there will be a Q&A session addressing pre-submitted questions from companies as well as live questions during the broadcast.


The briefing will be streamed live on the official YouTube channel of the Korea International Trade Association from 10 a.m. on the 9th, and a replay will be available from 5 p.m. on the same day.


Kwon Do-gyeom, Director of the Policy Cooperation Office, stated, "Many companies have unexpectedly faced export disruptions and worsening payment collection and financial conditions due to the COVID-19 crisis. We hope this briefing, held at a time when industry inquiries about policy finance are increasing, will help companies smoothly overcome this difficult period."
