Deputy Mayor Jo Young-jin of Changwon Inspects Credit Guarantee Foundation's 'Special Guarantee for Small Business Owners' Operations Cho Young-jin, the 1st Deputy Mayor of Changwon City, is visiting the Gyeongnam Credit Guarantee Foundation on the 7th to encourage the staff.


[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] On the 7th, Cho Young-jin, the first vice mayor of Changwon City, visited the Changwon branch of the Gyeongnam Credit Guarantee Foundation, which is handling the 'Special Guarantee Service for Small Business Owners Affected by the Novel Coronavirus Infection (COVID-19),' to encourage related workers and staff and listen to their difficulties.


Gyeongnam Credit Guarantee Foundation recently launched an emergency management system for rapid guarantee screening by deploying all employees to guarantee tasks and receiving personnel support from local commercial banks to promptly support the surging guarantee demand.


Changwon City is also actively cooperating by urgently dispatching six personnel to the Gyeongnam Credit Guarantee Foundation since the 6th to ensure that the urgent fund support tasks proceed smoothly.


Vice Mayor Cho toured various areas of the Gyeongnam Credit Guarantee Foundation Changwon branch, checked the status of guarantee operations, listened to grievances and suggestions, and had a communication session encouraging the efforts of the employees dispatched from Changwon City.


Vice Mayor Cho said, "Since employees from Changwon City and commercial banks have been dispatched to shorten the loan processing period through rapid issuance of guarantee certificates, we expect the foundation's workload to be reduced and the COVID-19 related loan support for small business owners to be accelerated." He added, "We will prepare various support measures to actively assist small business owners who are experiencing difficulties."
