Nipiel, a caviar specialty brand, recently announced that it has officially started selling CaviGene, a food good for immunity, in pharmacies.
Nipiel is a company that owns its own sturgeon farm and R&D center in Korea, specializing in caviar products, and has released cosmetics and mask packs.
Additionally, Nipiel recently launched CaviGene, a convenient stick-type health supplement that combines 6-year-old Korean red ginseng extract with caviar from 15-year-old sturgeon eggs.
Caviar is one of the world's three great delicacies, low in fat and rich in vitamins and proteins, and has long been loved as a health food. After surgeries, patients would drink caviar oil for recovery; in cold regions where vegetable intake is limited, it helped prevent vitamin deficiencies; its protein structure is over 96% identical to human protein, aiding in anti-aging and making it a premium cosmetic ingredient. It also promotes the production of acetylcholine, making it beneficial for growing children, pregnant women, and elderly people concerned about dementia. Especially rich in unsaturated fatty acids, it boosts metabolism and greatly helps improve immunity.
A Nipiel representative stated, "Until now, CaviGene was mainly sold through online shopping malls, social commerce, and Smart Store, but to assist those unfamiliar with the internet, we have started selling it in pharmacies where anyone can easily access it," explaining the background of the pharmacy launch.
Meanwhile, pharmacist Jin-yeop Lee of Gwanggyo Lounge Pharmacy said, "Interest in personal health is increasing these days, and since the main ingredients are red ginseng and caviar, which are good for immunity, consumer interest in this product seems to have naturally increased."
