[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Juhee] Play M Entertainment, the agency of the group VICTON, has announced legal action against malicious commenters.

On the 6th, Play M stated, "We have confirmed numerous malicious posts online that defame our artists, including VICTON members, through malicious slander, personal attacks, and spreading false information," and added, "On April 6th, through the law firm Wonil, we filed a criminal complaint for defamation and insult against those who posted malicious content related to VICTON at the Seoul Gangnam Police Station."

They continued, "As the harmful actions of malicious commenters have worsened day by day, causing severe damage to our artists, we plan to respond firmly without leniency. We will continue to take strong legal action based on reports from fans and our own monitoring."

The agency added, "We ask for your continued interest and love for our artist VICTON, and we will do our best to protect the rights and interests of all our artists."

Hello, this is Play M Entertainment.

Since our announcement in January regarding legal protection for our artists, we have confirmed numerous malicious posts online that defame our artists, including VICTON members, through malicious slander, personal attacks, and spreading false information, based on continuous reports from many fans and our own monitoring.

Accordingly, we reviewed the necessary materials for filing a complaint, and on April 6th, through the law firm Wonil, we filed a criminal complaint for defamation and insult against those who posted malicious content related to VICTON at the Seoul Gangnam Police Station.
