Gwangju Urban Railway Corporation, Public Recruitment of 18 New Administrative Staff

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Urban Railway Corporation announced on the 6th that it will publicly recruit 18 new employees for operational positions (6 station staff, 12 cleaning staff).

For station staff positions, 4 general and 2 disabled applicants will be recruited separately, and for cleaning staff positions, 9 general, 1 employment support, 1 North Korean defector, and 1 multicultural family applicant will be recruited separately.

Eligibility requires that as of the announcement date (April 6, 2020) until the interview date, the applicant's registered address must be in Gwangju Metropolitan City or have been registered in Gwangju Metropolitan City for more than 3 years before the announcement date. Applicants must be 18 years or older with no educational restrictions.

The selection process includes a written exam, document screening, and interview, followed by a physical examination and disqualification check to determine the final successful candidates. A 'blind recruitment' method is applied to exclude discriminatory factors such as education and age in the application and interview stages.

Applications will be accepted from the 20th to the 27th on the Gwangju City integrated recruitment application site. The written exam will be held on the 16th of next month, and the final successful candidates will be announced on June 12.
