Three Family Members Found Dead in Daegu Apartment... Father in His 40s Also in Critical Condition

According to the Daegu Dongbu Police Station on the 6th, four family members were found collapsed at the home of Mr. A (44) in an apartment in Dong-gu at around 4:33 p.m. on the 5th.

When the police arrived at the scene after receiving a report from an acquaintance of Mr. A, his middle school son (12) and mother (72) were already deceased. Mr. A and his wife (45) were taken to the hospital, but the wife eventually passed away as well. Mr. A is currently receiving treatment, but his condition is reported to be critical.

The acquaintance reportedly contacted the police after receiving a text message from Mr. A's cellphone saying, "I'm having a hard time, so I'm going ahead with my family."

A police official stated, "It has been understood that the couple had recently been experiencing difficulties with their business and other matters," adding, "We are investigating the exact circumstances."
