[Asia Economy Reporter Han Seung-gon] Broadcaster Kim Eo-jun said on the 6th that the 'Nth Room' case, in which women were threatened to create and distribute sexual exploitation materials, "smells like (a political conspiracy)."

On the day, Kim said on tbs radio's 'Kim Eo-jun's News Factory,' "The Future United Party said that if there is an Nth Room participant in our party, they will completely expel them from politics, which is a very strange message," asserting this.

He continued, "Having worked in this field for many years, this is actually the opposite; it means that there will be Nth Room participants from the Democratic Party, so they should be completely expelled from politics," adding, "This statement was not made suddenly but was issued as a formal statement. This is a message carefully crafted."

Earlier, Jung Won-seok, the full-time spokesperson of the Future United Party's election committee, held a press conference at the National Assembly Communication Office on the 5th to announce the formation of the 'Nth Room Case Task Force (TF) Countermeasure Committee,' stating, "The United Party declares an all-out war against the Nth Room case and various sexual crime cases."

He added, "Regarding Representative Hwang Kyo-ahn's 'zero tolerance principle,' if a member of our party is involved in similar sexual crime cases, we will completely expel them from politics through ultra-strong measures such as expulsion from the party."

Kim Eo-jun said that conservative-leaning media reported this and stated, "Especially, this can deliver a shock to strong women and people in their 30s and 40s on the Democratic Party side... It is like a prophecy saying, 'There will be Nth Room participants in the Democratic Party, so completely expel them from politics.'"

He added, "We need to look at this from the perspective of a conspiracy. Missing this topic (Nth Room involvement) is nonsense from the perspective of election engineering."

Previously, in February 2018, Kim raised conspiracy theories about the Me Too movement (sexual violence victim accusation movement) on his podcast 'Kim Eo-jun's Das Boida,' which drew public criticism.

At that time, Kim said, "Recently, there have been many news reports of sexual crimes involving power and hierarchy, like the Me Too movement. But from a conspiratorial mindset, sex is a highly attention-grabbing good topic with progressive values," and added, "Then (some forces) might prepare victims to appear in progressive media and see it as an opportunity to divide supporters of the Moon Jae-in government."
