[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Audi Korea announced on the 6th that it will launch the business premium sedan 'The New Audi A6 Quattro Premium.'
The newly introduced A6 TDI Quattro Premium is offered in two lines: 'The New Audi A6 40 TDI Quattro Premium' and 'The New Audi 45 TDI Quattro Premium.'
The A6 40 TDI Quattro Premium is equipped with an inline 4-cylinder diesel direct injection turbocharger (TDI) engine and a 7-speed S tronic transmission, delivering a maximum output of 204 horsepower and a peak torque of 40.8 kg·m. It has a top speed of 246 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds. The fuel efficiency is excellent, with a combined mileage of 15.1 km/ℓ.
The A6 45 TDI Quattro Premium features a V6 diesel direct injection turbocharger (TDI) engine and an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission. It offers powerful driving performance with a maximum output of 231 horsepower and a peak torque of 50.98 kg·m. The top speed is 250 km/h, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.3 seconds, and the combined fuel efficiency is 12.5 km/ℓ. Both models apply Audi’s unique all-wheel-drive system, Quattro, providing dynamic and stable driving performance.
Luxurious design and spacious, comfortable interior are also strengths of the A6 TDI Quattro Premium. The model comes standard with a panoramic sunroof and S line exterior package, designed aerodynamically for the exterior. Matrix LED headlights and LED taillights equipped with dynamic turn signals offer high visibility and a wide field of view.
The A6 40 TDI Quattro Premium is fitted with 18-inch multi-spoke design wheels, while the A6 45 TDI Quattro Premium features 19-inch 5 double-spoke design wheels, emphasizing Audi’s distinctive futuristic sensibility.
The interior of the Audi A6 TDI Quattro Premium secures more spacious front and rear seats and headroom compared to the previous generation, thanks to the increased overall length and wheelbase. This provides a comfortable and pleasant interior environment for both the driver and passengers.
Various advanced safety systems that assist safe and convenient driving are also applied. A rear-mounted radar sensor activates an exit warning system that temporarily prevents the door from opening and flashes LEDs on the side mirror and door when a vehicle approaches rapidly from behind or is in the blind spot. Additionally, Audi Side Assist sends warning signals through the side mirrors when a vehicle approaches the blind spot or rear during driving.
A head-up display (HUD) is installed on the driver’s front windshield, allowing easy confirmation of vehicle driving information as well as navigation directions. The adaptive cruise assist function reduces the driver’s burden during long-distance driving and enhances comfort for passengers.
Through Audi Drive Select, drivers can choose their preferred driving mode. The vehicle is equipped with Virtual Cockpit Plus, MMI Navigation Plus with dual touchscreens featuring haptic feedback, and MMI Touch Response, enabling the driver to control all vehicle information comprehensively and intuitively.
The price of the Audi A6 40 TDI Quattro Premium is 71,620,000 KRW, and the price of the Audi A6 45 TDI Quattro Premium is 76,620,000 KRW.
