North Korea: "Hwang Kyo-ahn's remarks defending 'Nth Room' show empathy with them"

"The United Party is a gathering of perverts and lechers"

North Korea: "Hwang Kyo-ahn's remarks defending 'Nth Room' show empathy with them" On the 2nd, when the campaign for the 21st National Assembly election began, Hwang Kyo-ahn, the leader of the United Future Party running in Jongno, is appealing for support from a campaign vehicle in the alleys of Cheongunhyoja-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.

North Korea on the 6th stated that Hwang Kyo-ahn, leader of the United Future Party, who said that people who entered the 'Telegram n-room' sharing sexual exploitation materials out of curiosity should be judged differently regarding the disclosure of their identities, "Hwang Kyo-ahn’s defense of the n-room criminals, who shock everyone, can truly be called a case of shared misery."

North Korea's anti-South propaganda outlet Uriminzokkiri mentioned Hwang's recent remarks about the n-room in an article titled "Shared Misery" on the same day, claiming, "Hwang Kyo-ahn’s recent defense of the 'n-room' is by no means a slip of the tongue or a careless remark."

The outlet asserted, "This person has a sinister past of pressuring the court to acquit former Deputy Minister of Justice Kim Hak-ui, a criminal who raped an actress during his tenure as Minister of Justice and caused her to commit suicide."

Uriminzokkiri continued its criticism by saying, "Looking at this, the United Future Party is a gathering of perverted sex offenders, habitual rapists, and lechers."

The outlet raised its voice, stating, "The fact that United Future Party floor leader Shim Jae-cheol was caught by reporters inside the National Assembly chamber looking at naked photos of women on his smartphone, and the sexual harassment incident involving Kim Moo-sung and a female reporter, which is too shameful to even repeat, are just a few of the countless disgraceful sexual misconducts by these conservative cliques."

Uriminzokkiri said, "If such human scum seize power, second and third n-room incidents will continue to occur in South Korean society, and the already rotten social ethics and morals will deteriorate even further, which is beyond doubt." It added, "It is only natural that all sectors of South Korean society are clamoring to purge the United Future Party and its leader Hwang Kyo-ahn before the n-room."

North Korea: "Hwang Kyo-ahn's remarks defending 'Nth Room' show empathy with them" Choi Chang-woo, representative of the Safe Society Citizens' Coalition, is holding a solo protest on the 3rd in front of the statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, criticizing Hwang Kyo-ahn, leader of the United Future Party, for his remarks on the nth room case.

Earlier, at a discussion hosted by the Broadcast Journalists Club on the 1st, Hwang said regarding the n-room incident, "People who entered the (n) room out of curiosity but stopped their activities upon realizing it was 'inappropriate' may be judged differently (regarding identity disclosure, etc.)."

When this remark was reported by the media, the ruling party and civic groups unanimously criticized Hwang, saying it was an attempt to excuse sexual crime perpetrators.

Meanwhile, North Korea had issued its first response to the n-room incident on the 29th of last month, calling South Korea "a society where corruption has become normalized."

The external propaganda outlet Meari, in an article titled "Suspicious Eyes Gather on South Korean Prosecutors’ Investigation of the N-room Incident," said, "Recently, in South Korea, criminals have been actively promoting immoral acts targeting minors on the internet and making money from sexual crimes, shocking society."
