According to the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong on the 5th, the newlywed home in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, where Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo lived together at the time of their marriage, began demolition at the end of February.
The Song Joong-ki residence, scheduled to be completed by the end of June next year, will be a detached house with three basement floors and two above-ground floors after reconstruction. It is known that Song Joong-ki purchased this house for about 10 billion KRW.
On the 27th of last month, Song Joong-ki also attracted attention by purchasing a high-priced condo worth over 2.7 billion KRW near Ala Moana Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Regarding this, his agency HiSTORY D&C stated, "It is a private matter, so it is difficult to confirm."
Meanwhile, Song Joong-ki had been filming the movie 'Bogota' in Bogota, Colombia since January, but when the Colombian government banned foreigners from entering and even its own citizens from leaving due to the COVID-19 outbreak, he stopped filming locally and returned to Korea on the 24th.
Although there were no health issues, he is currently self-quarantining at home for two weeks for safety.
