According to Daegu City on the 5th, the deceased tested positive for COVID-19 at Daegu Medical Center on February 26 and had been receiving inpatient treatment at Daegu Catholic University Hospital.

He had underlying conditions including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hypertension, and diabetes.

With this, the nationwide death toll has risen to 185, and Daegu's to 125.
