[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jucheol In] On the 5th, which is Arbor Day and the solar term Hansik (Cold Food), Daegu and Gyeongbuk will be mostly clear with very dry air.

According to the Daegu Regional Meteorological Administration, Daegu and Gyeongbuk will be influenced by a high-pressure system near the Shandong Peninsula in China.

Except for Daegu, Gyeongsan, and Seongju, where a dry weather warning is in effect, a dry weather advisory is currently in place throughout the rest of Gyeongbuk.

The morning low temperatures will range from -4°C in Gimcheon, -1°C in Andong, 1°C in Uljin, 2°C in Daegu, to 4°C in Pohang, which is 3 to 6 degrees lower than the previous day. The daytime high temperatures will be 11°C in Uljin, 15°C in Andong, 16°C in Daegu, Pohang, and Gimcheon, and 17°C in Gumi, dropping 3 to 5 degrees compared to the previous day.

Due to good atmospheric dispersion, fine dust levels are expected to be at a 'normal' level, but concentrations are forecasted to be higher in the morning due to yellow dust that flowed in the previous day.

Fine dust concentration is expected to be at a 'normal' level.

The sea waves will be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the southern East Sea nearshore, and 1 to 3 meters in the southern and central East Sea offshore areas.

A Daegu Regional Meteorological Administration official stated, "With dry weather alerts in effect for Daegu and Gyeongbuk, the air is very dry, so even a small spark can easily lead to a large fire," and urged, "Please be especially cautious to prevent various fires such as forest fires during outdoor activities and hiking over the weekend."
