On the 3rd, the National Assembly Secretariat released a press statement announcing, "The 2020 18th Grade 8 open competitive recruitment (public recruitment) exam, which was scheduled to be held on the 25th, will be postponed to after June."

Regarding the reason for the postponement, it stated, "Due to the continued spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the decision to postpone the exam was made to protect the health of examinees and the public."
