Seodaemun-gu Reports 15th Confirmed COVID-19 Case

82-Year-Old Male Resident of Cheonnyeon-dong Dongnipmun Geukdong Apartment

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 3rd, the 15th confirmed case of COVID-19 occurred among the residents of Seodaemun-gu.

The confirmed patient is an 82-year-old male living in Dongnimmun Geukdong Apartment, Cheonyeon-dong, and was in contact with the 14th confirmed case in Seodaemun-gu, who was diagnosed positive on the 1st of this month.

The 15th confirmed case was tested at the Seodaemun-gu Public Health Center screening clinic on the 2nd, received a positive diagnosis on the morning of the 3rd, and was transferred in the afternoon of the 3rd to Seoul Medical Center located in Jungnang-gu, a nationally designated isolation hospital bed.

Seodaemun-gu conducted disinfection around the confirmed patient's residence and plans to investigate the movement route and disclose it on the district's homepage.
