[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Min Jun-young] The son of novelist Lee Oi-su (74), who is hospitalized in the intensive care unit after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage, has shared news about his father.
Lee Han-eol, the eldest son of Lee Oi-su, posted on his father's Facebook on the 1st to update on his father's condition. He explained, "My father has been in the intensive care unit for ten days since undergoing brain hemorrhage surgery on March 22."
He added, "Visits are limited to 15 minutes per day and only one person is allowed." He also mentioned, "My mother and our family visit daily to check on my father's condition and have consultations with the doctors."
Lee said, "Every time I see my father, I tell him that he is never alone and that many people who love him are waiting," adding, "I hold his hand, carrying your prayers."
Lee, who collapsed from a cerebral hemorrhage around 6 p.m. on the 22nd in Hwacheon, Gangwon, was transferred to the emergency room of Hallym University Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital, underwent surgery, and is currently in the recovery phase in the intensive care unit.
