Anyone Can Use for Free: Small Business Owners Even Without Baedal Minjok Store Affiliation
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Woowa Brothers, the operator of 'Baedal Minjok,' announced on the 2nd that the number of users of its sales management service 'Baemin Jangbu' has surpassed 100,000.
Baemin Jangbu is a program that helps easily grasp sales status and details. Woowa Brothers completed its development in January last year and distributed it for free so that anyone can use it. Even if a business is not listed on Baedal Minjok, small business owners can use it without additional costs. It is available not only for the food service industry but also for self-employed individuals in other sectors such as convenience stores, PC rooms, and clothing stores after a simple registration process.
The number of Baemin Jangbu users grew by about 20% every month, reaching 46,000 five months after its launch in June last year and 85,000 in December. At the end of last month, 1 year and 3 months after its release, it surpassed 100,000 users. User satisfaction is also high. It displays various types of transaction information such as card payments, delivery app transactions, and cash receipts on one screen, and allows users to check sales amounts by card company, uncollected card transactions, and uncredited account deposits at a glance. In particular, it sends daily alert messages about the ratio of new orders to reorder rates, helping to prevent management risks that might otherwise be overlooked.
In addition to sales information, Baemin Jangbu offers special features. Representative examples include analysis of popular menu items in stores, popular delivery areas, and peak sales hours. It also provides a free job posting service and inventory management functions for food ingredients and consumables for food service self-employed users who use Baemin Sanghoe.
Woowa Brothers plans to introduce new features to Baemin Jangbu, including online review management services in addition to sales information. Once the online review management function is applied, users will be able to check customer reviews posted on the Baedal Minjok app as well as consumer reviews scattered online through Baemin Jangbu, with the ability to view the total number of reviews and analyze positive and negative reviews. A Woowa Brothers official stated, "We will continue to improve the Baemin Jangbu service."
