[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] The Seoul Regional Headquarters of NongHyup (Head Lee Dae-yeop) announced on the 1st that it will carry out the 'Campaign to Sell Local Agricultural Products' to support agriculture and rural areas struggling with the distribution of agricultural products due to the spread and prolongation of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), and to provide healthy food to urban residents.

As part of this campaign, Seoul NongHyup Hanaro Mart will simultaneously sell about 10 tons of local agricultural products such as apples, watermelons, and cherry tomatoes for one week starting today.

Lee Dae-yeop, head of Seoul NongHyup, said, "I hope the public will use our agricultural products a lot so that they can eat our agricultural products, take care of their health, and give hope to farmers."
