[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] The Ministry of Government Legislation visited a restaurant in Geumnam-myeon, Sejong Special Self-Governing City on the 1st to encourage local merchants struggling with decreased sales due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and delivered hand sanitizer.
On that day, Director Kim Hyung-yeon had a meal at the restaurant after the disinfection was completed, as it was included in the movement path of a confirmed COVID-19 patient.
He also comforted the business owners who are having difficulties due to COVID-19.
Director Kim said, "Revitalizing the local commercial district, which has been depressed due to COVID-19, is also an important task," and added, "The Ministry of Government Legislation will do its utmost to support self-employed business owners severely affected by COVID-19 through proactive administration."
