Naver placed absurd photos related to the webtoon titles in the webtoon thumbnails. For example, the webtoon 'Maeum-ui Sori' (The Sound of Your Heart) featured a photo of an office worker pulling out a resignation letter, while 'Sin-ui Tap' (Tower of God) showed a photo of piled-up shoes. 'Yumi-ui Sepodeul' (Yumi's Cells) included an actual cell photo, and the 'Gosu' thumbnail was replaced with a photo of the vegetable coriander.

Last year on April Fools' Day, Naver Webtoon also replaced thumbnails with readers' cosplay photos and images created by employees. At that time, 'Bokhakwang' (Return to Campus King) included a photo of the author Kian84 himself.
