Galaxy S20 Ultra 512GB Model Launching on April 6

[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Samsung Electronics will release a large-capacity model of the Galaxy S20 Ultra with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage on the 6th.

On the 1st, Samsung Electronics announced that the Galaxy S20 Ultra 512GB limited edition model will be sold exclusively on Samsung.com starting from the 6th. The retail price is 1,793,000 KRW, which is 198,000 KRW more expensive than the Galaxy S20 Ultra 256GB model. The color is Cosmic Black only.

While the 512GB model has been sold alongside other models in some countries such as the United States, it will be released one month later in Korea. The Galaxy S20 Ultra is equipped with a 108-megapixel camera and supports 8K video, so there has been demand for a large-capacity model. The Galaxy S20 Ultra released domestically last month supported 12GB RAM and 256GB memory.

Although domestic users have a high preference for large-capacity models, considering the high price, it is interpreted that Samsung intends to enjoy the new product effect by releasing it one month later. Previously, Samsung Electronics also sold 1,000 units of the Galaxy S10 1TB model (1,749,000 KRW) as a limited edition.
