From April 1, 10% Reduction in Patient Co-Payment for Medical Fees at the Hospital
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] The Geumcheon Cultural Foundation (Chairman Jeong Byeong-jae) will begin providing medical support for artists' welfare to artists residing in Geumcheon-gu starting April 1.
To this end, the foundation signed a business agreement last February with local hospitals in Geumcheon-gu, namely Huimyung Hospital Medical Corporation and Seoul Barun Sesang Hospital.
The support targets artists residing in Geumcheon-gu who possess an Artist Activity Certificate issued by the Korea Artists Welfare Foundation, as well as their direct descendants and ascendants, spouses, and spouses' parents.
Eligible individuals can present their 'Artist Activity Certificate', a 'Resident Registration Certificate' to verify residence in Geumcheon-gu, and for family members, a 'Family Relation Certificate' at the medical institutions. Following the medical institution's guidance, they can receive benefits such as a 10% discount on the patient's share of medical fees.
