With a significant increase in civil servant recruitment in 2020, the expectations of examinees preparing for the civil service exam are also rising. Despite the confusion caused by the postponement of the 2020 Grade 9 national civil servant exam schedule due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), exam candidates are striving to pass the civil service exam.
In response, Hackers Gongmuwon, a highly recommended academy and online lecture provider for Grade 9/7 civil servant exams, announced that it will open the Grade 9/7 Basic Theory Comprehensive Course in May, drawing attention.
Hackers Gongmuwon’s “Grade 9 Basic Theory Comprehensive Course” is a six-day-a-week, eight-week program starting on Monday, May 11, at the Noryangjin Campus and Gangnam Station Campus. Currently, Hackers Gongmuwon is running an early registration event for the “Grade 9 Pass Foundation Basic Theory Comprehensive Course,” offering up to 400,000 KRW in tuition support for registrations in May and June. The first 100 registrants will receive three basic textbooks covering three subjects (9 books, *textbook costs included in tuition), an online lecture pass for previewing the material, and supplementary review videos, attracting many students.
Hackers Gongmuwon’s “Grade 7 Basic Theory Comprehensive Course” is a newly launched product for next year’s national exam preparation, covering four subjects: Constitution, Administrative Law, Public Administration, and Economics. Additionally, examinees preparing for local government and Seoul city civil servant exams can take six subjects: Korean language, Korean history, Constitution, Administrative Law, Public Administration, and Economics.
The “Basic Theory Comprehensive Course” at Hackers Gongmuwon provides daily review tests and English vocabulary tests before each class to help students develop a habit of consistent daily review. Monthly midterm and final exams are also administered to improve practical skills and identify weaknesses.
Moreover, based on daily and monthly test score data, one-on-one consulting with homeroom teachers is offered to help students set the right study direction and improve their abilities. Hackers Gongmuwon also awards scholarships weekly based on attendance, grades, and study group participation, recognizing top performers such as the “Study King,” outstanding students, and diligent students.
Meanwhile, Hackers Gongmuwon is thoroughly managing virus prevention measures to ensure that students attending in-person classes can study safely and with peace of mind. The academy conducts daily internal disinfection, and students not wearing masks are asked to leave. At the Noryangjin Campus, thermal imaging cameras are used, while the Gangnam Station Campus uses non-contact thermometers to check the temperature of all entrants. Individuals with fever or respiratory symptoms are prohibited from entering. Hand sanitizer use is mandatory before entering classrooms, and frequently touched objects such as doorknobs are disinfected every hour.
Hackers Education Group is Korea’s leading comprehensive education company, maintaining the No. 1 position in the education group sector for five consecutive years. It has been ranked first in the education group category for five years in a row since 2012 through nationwide voting at the “Brand of the Year” awards selected by the Korea Consumer Forum.
