Son Byunghwan, President of NongHyup Bank, Visits SMEs Facing COVID-19 Financial Difficulties for 'On-site Management'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Haeyoung] Sohn Byunghwan, President of NH Nonghyup Bank, has embarked on "field management" to listen to the voices of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) struggling due to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and to strengthen financial support for companies with excellent technological capabilities.

On the 30th, President Sohn visited GNST located in Baekseok Industrial Complex, Cheonan, toured the company, and held a meeting with the CEO.

GNST is a specialized manufacturer of vehicle microphone modules, including Bluetooth and active noise cancellation (ANC) microphone modules that can optimally capture sound in automotive driving environments.

President Sohn listened to the difficulties related to GNST's financing and said, "We will share the hardships with companies and prepare sufficient liquidity support measures so that our parts manufacturing companies can withstand the crisis."

Meanwhile, NH Nonghyup Bank is operating the "COVID-19 Emergency Financial Support Committee" to support SMEs and small business owners affected by COVID-19. It is continuously providing various financial supports such as launching special guarantee loan products, preferential loan terms and interest rates for new funds, interest payment deferrals, and repayment deferrals when repayment deadlines arrive.
