NH Nonghyup Card Delivers Support Message to Daegu for Overcoming COVID-19

Delivery of Sandwich Lunchboxes for Small Business Owners to Daegu Regional Base Hospitals

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] NH Nonghyup Card announced on the 30th that it delivered lunchboxes containing customers' support messages to Daegu Catholic University Hospital on the 27th to encourage the citizens of Daegu who are fighting against the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

Earlier, NH Nonghyup Card held a COVID-19 overcoming support comment event on its official Facebook and Instagram. The customers' support messages were delivered to Daegu Catholic University Hospital along with 200 sets of sandwich lunchboxes sold by small business owners in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region.

NH Nonghyup Card is promoting social distancing practices and improving working conditions within its call center to prevent group infections of COVID-19. They applied staggered shifts for counselors and seating arrangements such as zigzag seating and leaving seats empty beside each other to secure a distance of more than 1.5 meters between counselors.

Additionally, reflecting the nature of counselors' work, acrylic masks and cloth masks were provided, and efforts are being made to create a safe working environment through temperature checks, regular disinfection, and the provision of hygiene products. Acrylic panels will be additionally installed on the counseling desk partitions to maintain a height of over 90 cm.

An NH Nonghyup Card official said, "We are doing our best with proactive measures such as operating separate alternative workplaces, flexible working hours, and telecommuting to prevent COVID-19 infection and avoid causing inconvenience to customers."
