Socar and Jin Air's Jeju Travel Event to Overcome COVID-19

Socar Station Jeju Vehicle Reservation Customers Receive Jin Air Discount Voucher

[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] Socar announced on the 30th that it will hold an event with Jin Air to stimulate demand for domestic travel, which has been sluggish due to the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), and to revitalize tourism in Jeju.

The two companies will offer discount benefits to customers traveling domestically to Jeju for one month until the 26th of next month. Customers who reserve a Socar Station Jeju vehicle for more than 48 hours will receive a 5,000 KRW discount voucher for Jin Air's Jeju route (domestic flights, regardless of departure location). The discount voucher is valid until boarding on July 26 and can be used when booking a round-trip airfare of 40,000 KRW or more.

Socar provides various ongoing discount benefits in partnership with museums, hotels, cafes, and more within Jeju to VIP level members of its membership program 'Socar Club' and subscribers of 'Socar Pass.' Detailed benefits and Jeju area partners can be checked in the 'Get Benefits' menu within the Socar app.

Meanwhile, since last month, Socar has been strengthening vehicle disinfection and car washing to ensure the safety of users and to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Hand sanitizers are always available in large zone vehicles such as Socar Station Jeju, and indoor and outdoor car washing and disinfection are frequently performed on all returned vehicles.
