[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Yoo Seung-min, a member of the Future United Party, appealed for support for Future United Party candidates by saying, "You can insult and criticize me" regarding past conservative divisions and conflicts. He also evaluated that the era of factional politics such as 'Pro-Park' and 'Pro-Hwang' has ended and a new era of politics has begun.

On the morning of the 29th, Yoo visited candidate Ji Sang-wook's election office in Jung-gu, Seoul, saying, "There are conservative voters who dislike me, but if I can be of any help, especially to candidates asking for my help in the metropolitan area, I will do whatever I can to assist them."

Regarding his 46 days of silence after deciding not to run, he said, "It was not because I had nothing to say, but because I hoped that during the process of starting the Future United Party, rather than raising a different voice, the integration would go well, the wounds would heal, and the party could appear to the public as a new conservative party." He added, "I believe the Future United Party achieved some of those results during the nomination process."

Yoo said, "I will help the nominated candidates regardless of whether they are close to me or not, or whether they were politically in the opposing camp." He continued, "In fact, I was classified as an original Pro-Park. Now, the era of dividing politics into Pro-Park, Pro-Jin, Pro-Park, Pro-Hong, Pro-Hwang, and so on has ended and a new era of politics without such distinctions has begun."

He said, "If you want to criticize the past divisions and conflicts, you can criticize and insult me, Yoo Seung-min." He added, "In that sense, I withdrew from the race with everything in mind, and since the integration has been achieved, I hope the core members of the Future United Party will work hard and actively support candidate Ji."
