Employees Conduct 'Mental Immunity Enhancement Campaign'
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Orange Life announced on the 27th that it has launched a 'Mental Immunity Enhancement Campaign' for employees who are exhausted due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
This campaign was planned to alleviate psychological isolation such as depression and lethargy among employees and to revitalize their daily lives in a situation where face-to-face meetings and interactions have been restricted for over two months due to the spread of COVID-19. It was conducted by writing stories that bring small joys and laughter to oneself and sharing them non-face-to-face with fellow employees through the company's online community.
Jung Moon-guk, CEO of Orange Life, said, "To overcome COVID-19, it is as important to maintain psychological immunity that frees us from lethargy and anxiety as it is to maintain physical health. I believe that if everyone trusts the power of positivity and practices 'social distancing' in daily life, we can wisely overcome the unprecedented crisis we face."
Meanwhile, Orange Life is providing comprehensive support in both financial and non-financial sectors to overcome COVID-19. Earlier this month, as part of the 'Hope Together with Shinhan' campaign, it donated 100 million KRW to medical personnel in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, and supported 800 masks and 38,000 filters for disadvantaged children at child welfare institutions nationwide. It is also implementing measures such as deferring insurance premium and insurance contract loan interest payments, prompt insurance claim payments, expanding non-face-to-face accident insurance claim amounts, and raising the limit for easy payment of insurance contract loans.
