[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] One confirmed patient of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) died in Daegu, increasing the total number of deaths in the country to 140.
According to Daegu City on the 27th, an 87-year-old female confirmed patient who was hospitalized and receiving treatment at Daegu Medical Center died at around 11:33 PM the previous day. This patient had been admitted to Hansarang Nursing Hospital and was diagnosed as positive during a comprehensive survey of nursing hospitals.
She was known to have underlying conditions such as diabetes.
