Kolon FnC Opens Opistore Combining Office, Store, and Coffee Shop in One Location

[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Lifestyle brand Esrow, operated by Kolon Industries FnC division (hereinafter Kolon FnC), will open an Offi Store (Office + Store) on the first floor of Hotel Poco located in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, on the 26th.

This place is designed as a multipurpose space combining an office, store, and coffee shop. Three Esrow team members in charge of product planning and design will directly observe customer reactions and immediately reflect them in products, while customers can expand their opportunities to experience the brand beyond just purchasing products.

The location of the Esrow Offi Store in Seongsu-dong also holds significance. The company stated, "Seongsu-dong used to be an area with factories and warehouses, but now various cafes and lifestyle shops are increasing alongside many artists," adding, "We plan to utilize the Offi Store to collaborate with startups and artists based in Seongsu-dong."

Esrow will first curate and sell products from a total of six brands and select various brands based in Seongsu-dong to carry out projects that can create a win-win situation with the local community.

Esrow Creative Director Park Gisu said, “Social ventures, startups, and artists settled in Seongsu-dong break away from conventional methods and have their own philosophies, which are part of the valuable life that young consumers aspire to. Through the Seongsu-dong Offi Store, we want to share and communicate this unique Seongsu-dong vibe with customers.”

Meanwhile, Esrow was launched in 2018 as the second brand of the series. It offers casual products suitable for daily wear, such as sweatshirts, round T-shirts, jackets, and pants for setup styles.
