[Public Official Assets] Seong Yun-mo, Minister of Industry, 1.547 Billion KRW... Up 180 Million KRW from Previous Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Sung Yoon-mo, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, reported assets worth 1,546,570,000 KRW.

According to the 2020 regular asset changes disclosed in the government gazette on the 26th by the Government Official Ethics Committee, Minister Sung's assets were calculated at 1,546,570,000 KRW, an increase of 182,150,000 KRW compared to the previous year.

Among Minister Sung's assets, the building value amounted to 1,594,000,000 KRW. He reported ownership of a Gyeonggi Gwacheon Jugong Apartment worth approximately 864,000,000 KRW jointly owned with his spouse, and a Jeonse right of an Inwangsan I-Park Apartment in Muak-dong, Seoul, valued at 730,000,000 KRW.

Deposit assets increased by 41,400,000 KRW from the previous year due to salary savings, totaling 504,560,000 KRW.

His personal deposit assets were reported as 169,880,000 KRW, and his wife's deposits were 284,430,000 KRW. Deposits under the name of his eldest daughter amounted to 16,190,000 KRW, and deposits under his eldest son’s name were 34,060,000 KRW.

Under his spouse’s name, there are a 2009 Hyundai Grandeur (engine displacement 2656 cc) and a 2017 Genesis G80 (engine displacement 3300 cc). The vehicle value decreased by 10,230,000 KRW due to depreciation, from 52,560,000 KRW to 42,320,000 KRW.

Debt was reported at 601,020,000 KRW, an increase of 1,020,000 KRW from the previous year.

Meanwhile, Jeong Seung-il, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, reported 302,500,000 KRW, a decrease of 145,810,000 KRW from the previous year, and Yoo Myung-hee, Director-General for Trade Negotiations, reported 1,935,360,000 KRW, an increase of 514,180,000 KRW.
