Go Hyunjung (played by Shin Dongmi) delivers a touching scene by heroically rescuing Gye Geunsang (played by Oh Uisik), who was terrified after being pelted with eggs by teenage haters. After swiftly dealing with the teenage haters, Go Hyunjung proudly declares, "Just because he's a doctor who lives on SNS doesn't mean he does his job carelessly!" showing her love for her husband.

Jo Ganghwa (played by Lee Gyuhyung), about to go to bed, asks Oh Minjeong, "When did you first see Seo Woo's after-school helper?" Oh Minjeong replies, "The day we saw her together, at the daycare." When Jo Ganghwa reacts awkwardly, Oh Minjeong asks back, "That was the first time we met, right?" Jo Ganghwa responds, "Yeah. That's right," but keeps his words brief.

Sensing something strange in Jo Ganghwa's behavior, Oh Minjeong confides that the after-school helper "looks so much like Seo Woo's mom," and admits, "I didn't think about how much it would bother you, but I keep feeling drawn to her." When Oh Minjeong wonders if it's because she resembles Seo Woo's mom, Jo Ganghwa tells her, "Minjeong, you are Seo Woo's mom too."

Cha Yuri sets out to find the household guardian spirit to prevent Seo Woo from seeing ghosts. Finally, she captures the guardian spirit, and alongside it, also catches the virgin ghost (played by Kim Seulgi). Kim Taehee hands over the captured virgin ghost to Midongdak (played by Yoon Sabong).

After capturing the guardian spirit, Cha Yuri happily asks Midongdak, "Now Seo Woo won't be able to see ghosts anymore, right?" Midongdak replies ambiguously, "That's right. I guess so," without giving a definite answer. When Cha Yuri asks, "What if Seo Woo keeps seeing ghosts?" Midongdak answers, "Then she’ll become like me." Cha Yuri is horrified and exclaims, "A shaman?!! No way. Absolutely not!!"

Go Hyunjung asks Cha Yuri, "Do you like being Seo Woo's after-school helper?" Cha Yuri nods and says, "It's better than nothing." Go Hyunjung presses her, "Let's hear why you want to die," and Cha Yuri hesitates before revealing, "Seo Woo can see ghosts. Because I was a ghost." Surprised, Go Hyunjung listens as Cha Yuri continues, "I don't want anything. I'm already dead, and I have no regrets in this world. I just want to resolve what I caused before I go." She tearfully says this is the only thing she can do for Seo Woo.

Cha Yuri also shares that she stayed around Seo Woo because she missed her, and while doing so, she came to realize how kind and devoted a mother and wife Oh Minjeong is. Go Hyunjung agrees, saying, "Minjeong is a good person." Cha Yuri expresses her gratitude, saying, "I've never been this thankful to anyone in my life. Even after death, I can't repay this debt to her," showing her appreciation for Oh Minjeong.

Knowing that Oh Minjeong likes bracken but avoids eating it because of Jo Ganghwa, Cha Yuri gives the bracken side dish she asked her mother to prepare to Oh Minjeong. Oh Minjeong, grateful, offers Cha Yuri a drink, and Go Hyunjung joins them. The three gather at Go Hyunjung's place, feeling awkward but continuing their conversation over beer.

Oh Minjeong asks Go Hyunjung, "You were close with Seo Woo's mom, am I uncomfortable for you?" Go Hyunjung replies, "What's there to be uncomfortable about?" and adds, "Thank you," which surprises Oh Minjeong. Then Go Hyunjung looks at Cha Yuri and asks, "Is she not uncomfortable here?" Oh Minjeong answers, "No, I'm just curious. Like Seo Woo's mom."

Oh Minjeong says she only has one photo of Seo Woo's mom and is very curious about what kind of person she was, her way of speaking, and her thoughts, adding bitterly, "Oppa doesn't tell me." As the conversation deepens, the three become intoxicated, and Jo Ganghwa comes to pick up Oh Minjeong. When Cha Yuri sees Jo Ganghwa, she tries to call him "Jo Gang..." but stops upon hearing Oh Minjeong say, "He's my husband." Jo Ganghwa entrusts Cha Yuri to Go Hyunjung and leaves.

Jo Ganghwa meets Jeon Eunsuk (played by Kim Mikyung) at a cafe. Jeon Eunsuk asks if the surgery still hasn't happened, and when Jo Ganghwa confirms, she asks why he hasn't received psychiatric treatment. Jo Ganghwa answers, "I didn't get treatment because I felt sorry about getting better."

After saving a woman who was almost hit by a motorcycle, Cha Yuri calls Jo Ganghwa. When Jo Ganghwa answers, Cha Yuri's urgent voice is heard before the call abruptly ends, prompting him to rush to the emergency room. On his way, he recalls the day Cha Yuri died.

Midongdak sees a man (played by Yang Kyungwon) standing in front of her house and asks with a fearful expression, "Why are you here?" The man replies, "I came to pick him up since there was no news," hinting at upcoming disruptions in Cha Yuri's schedule.

The tvN drama "Hi Bye, Mama!" airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM.
