Recently, as the suspect in his 20s was arrested in the Telegram n-bunbang case, public interest in the incident has increased, and voices strongly supporting the disclosure of the suspect's identity and punishment of the 260,000 people who used n-bunbang are growing loudly in the entertainment industry as well.


The Telegram n-bunbang case is a sexual exploitation incident that has been carried out on Telegram since early 2019. The suspect in his 20s, Mr. Jo, who was caught this time, is accused of producing and distributing sexually exploitative obscene materials targeting minors. The 260,000 people who used n-bunbang is a simple aggregation of the number of participants in about 60 sexual exploitation material sharing rooms found on Telegram.


As this case became known, stars in the entertainment industry have not hidden their anger toward the suspect and have courageously raised their voices.

Hyeri posted on her SNS, saying, "It is terrifying beyond anger," and appealed for strong punishment, sharing a captured petition demanding the disclosure of the Telegram n-bunbang suspect's identity and a photo line, urging others to join.


Actress Ha Yeonsu also voiced her courageous opinion early on SNS. She said, "Not only innocent women but also the desire for display, sense of privilege, and pressure that polluted the era have produced numerous victims and only nurtured twisted pleasure and hatred." Actress Lee Youngjin raised awareness of the seriousness of the case by posting a banner calling for strong punishment of n-bunbang sexual exploitation.


Actress Son Suhyun also posted on her SNS demanding strong punishment and identity disclosure. In particular, she expressed her opinion in a strong tone, saying, "If the end of such unethical acts is just a few years in prison, it will overturn everything."


In addition, Baek Yerin, Lady Jane, Simon Dominic, Paloalto, and Jo Kwon encouraged participation in petitions demanding strong punishment for those involved in the Telegram n-bunbang case.


Meanwhile, the national petition demanding the disclosure of the Telegram n-bunbang suspect's identity and to have them stand at the photo line has now exceeded 2 million signatures.
